Lipidhealth.org Corner

SPOTLIGHT: There's a new, more user-friendly look to lipidhealth.org! Improvements include: :

Homepage: "Redefined" navigational bars on the left side of the page link the user to revised sections, such as Multimedia and CME Activities. The bars now feature "drop-down" menus that allow users to better target where they want to visit. Under the Slide Library navigational bar, for instance, users can click on a section in a list and go directly to those slides. From the CME Activities navigational bar, users can select Interactive Case Studies, the most recent NLEC CD-ROM, the 2000 LipidManagement™ newsletter posttest, and more.
Current Literature: The department has been reorganized to better direct users to specific types of information. Looking for articles on clinical trials? Articles on particular subjects? Keywords? This section has been organized according to the following topics: clinical trials, guidelines, risk factors, science base, and therapies. Keywords and cross-referencing links allow users even more access to the information.
Slide Library: Here, more options are available to access information. Need only slides? Use the slide sorter. Need slides with full lecture notes? They're there too. The Slide Library, one of the largest and most comprehensive in the field, is used every day by physicians, nurses, researchers, and medical students, among others.
LipidManagement™ Newsletter: This section, now better organized, offers direct access to the current issue of LipidManagement™ and to the archived issues.
CME Activities: They've been updated and reordered to make it easier to find both new and existing CME activities. This section is continually expanded.
Helpful Resources: This section has been expanded to include Patient Education Materials. These learning tools can help patients better understand their health problems and treatment, as well as promote healthy habits and foster doctor-patient communication.
