SPOTLIGHT: The NLEC’s first webcast has just debuted on lipidhealth.org. Entitled Strategies for CVD Risk Reduction, the webcast features four presentations from the NLEC Annual Update Meeting earlier this year. The presentations include: Safety Issues Associated With Cholesterol Lowering by Richard Pasternak, MD; After HRT: What’s a Doctor To Do? by Elizabeth Barrett-Connor, MD; The Obesity–CVD Connection by Gerald M. Reaven, MD; and The Rationale for Lipid Lowering in the Elderly by Professor Chris J. Packard, DSc.
